Habimine

Privacy policy

Habimine is operated by Umesh Kharade. This explains what the app keeps about you, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. Last updated 15 October 2026. The app is for people aged 13 and over.

What the app keeps

AI features (optional)

Some features use AI: explaining a Vault card, AI conversation practice, tapping a word to see its meaning, and written summaries of your weekly activity, charts, Vault progress and monthly reassessments. They are off until you agree, you can switch them off any time in Profile, and the app works without them.

To write an answer, the app sends a small piece of information to our AI provider, Anthropic: the card you asked about, the words you type in an AI conversation or a word lookup, or summary numbers from your own activity (for example counts and levels). It never sends your name, email, account id, social chat messages or contacts, and no Wealth data is sent. Sleep, bedtime and resting heart rate are never sent. Anthropic processes this for us only to produce the answer.

We do not keep a transcript of your AI conversations. We keep the finished reports and notes made for you, a usage count, your language choice and a record that you agreed, in your own account, and they are deleted with it. Explanations of built-in Vault cards and of single words are stored without any link to your account and reused for other hunters to save cost, and the most common words are collected into a dictionary that the app downloads to your phone. If you report a wrong meaning, the word (not your name) is kept so it can be re-checked. If you report an AI answer, we keep the answer you saw, your reason and note, and your account id so we can reply; only a person reads it, it is never sent to the AI, and it is kept for as long as needed to handle the report and protect others.

AI can be wrong. What it writes is general information, not medical, fitness, mental-health or financial advice, and the app is not a medical device. Check anything important with a professional.

Things that stay on your phone

How it is used

Only to run the app: to show your progress, calculate rewards, sync between your devices, send the reminders and notifications you switch on, and keep the social features and moderation working. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use it to profile you for others. There is no third-party analytics.

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Authentication), which processes it for us under Google's terms. If you use the AI features, Anthropic processes the information described under "AI features" for us, only to produce your answer.

Who can see what

Your rights and choices

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete it, open Profile → PRIVACY & ACCOUNT → DELETE MY ACCOUNT. That signs you out and removes your hunter and everything under it, your public profile and name, your friendships, requests and blocks, the messages you sent, your party membership, your invite code, your notification tokens, your AI agreement, usage count and saved AI reports, and the books and settings on that phone. It cannot be undone.

Reports you sent or that were filed about you, and moderation records, are kept so other people stay protected; they hold ids and the report text, not your profile. Ordinary backups are overwritten by Google within a few weeks.

If you cannot open the app, ask for deletion by writing to [email protected] from the email address on the account.

Grievance officer

For complaints or requests about your personal data, contact Umesh Kharade at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge every request promptly and resolve it as soon as reasonably possible, and in line with the timelines set by applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies to you).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, protected by access rules so each account can reach only its own records, and your sign-in is stored in the phone's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong, unique password.

Children

The app is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly keep their data. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and the account will be removed.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you. Questions or requests: [email protected].
